Ricky Weiss competes at Smoky Mountain and Duck River in busy weekend

Fresh off his victory with the HTF Series, Ricky Weiss was right back in action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon as he joined a 45-car field for the two-day Tennessee Tipoff with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

Weiss finished eighth in his heat race and was unable to transfer to the $12,000-to-win main event through his last chance showdown.

Ricky Weiss then went to Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, TN) on Sunday afternoon for Winterfest. Leading the first 12 laps of the $6,025-to-win feature, Wiess pulled off with mechanical issues and eventually finished 14th.

Full results from the weekend can be found at www.WoOLMS.com and www.DuckRiverRacewayPark.com.
