Weiss continues title chase with HTF Series at Talladega Short Track
Ricky Weiss followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for night one of the Bama Bash.
With a massive 50-car field on hand, Weiss put down the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group and grabbed a heat race victory. Starting sixth in the $8,000-to-win opener, Ricky faded to finish outside the Top-10 in 12th.
On Saturday night, Ricky took a provisional to start the $12,000-to-win finale and made up five positions to finish 18th in the 50-lapper.
In the HTFSDS Point Standings, Weiss currently sits in fourth.
