Podium finish in FloRacing stop at Bulls Gap

Ricky Weiss returned with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America mini-series on Wednesday evening at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) for the $10,000 prize. With 28 Late Models entered, Weiss outdueled polesitter Mack McCarter in his heat race to pick up the win. Rolling off third for the main event, Ricky faded outside the top-five early but a late-race charge in the 40-lapper resulted in a third-place finish. He followed Jonathan Davenport and Kyle Larson across the line with Hudson O’Neal and Cory Hedgecock rounding out the Top-5. (Josh James Artwork)
