Top-5 finish with World of Outlaws Senoia

Picking back up with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, Ricky Weiss invaded Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Friday afternoon for the Mike Duvall Memorial. Forcing to take a provisional into the opening night feature after coming short of a transfer spot in preliminary action, Weiss improved four spots to place 17th. (Jacy Norgaard photo)

The following night at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Ricky timed in eighth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 11th, Weiss advanced forward six spots in the 40-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Ashton Winger, Chris Madden, Mark Whitener, and Tyler Bruening across the line.

Ricky sits in fifth in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
