Weiss finishes 16th in Rock Gault Memorial opener at Cherokee

Ricky Weiss picked back up with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on Friday afternoon at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the two-day Rock Gault Memorial. With the 43-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Weiss came in eighth in his heat, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the A-Main.
