Top-10 finish in North-South 100 at Florence Speedway

With wet weather taking Thursday’s prelim after qualifying wrapped up, Weiss rebounded after slow start in time trials on Friday with a seventh-to-second run in his heat. With $5,000 on the line in the preliminary feature, Ricky gained one spot in the 25-lapper to finish fourth.
On Saturday, Ricky followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a consolation victory. Starting the $75,000-to-win North-South 100 in 19th, Weiss advanced through the field 10 spots in the 100-lap affair to place ninth.
