Ricky Weiss wraps up 2024 Wild West Shootout with two Top-10 finishes

Returning to Vado Speedway Park (Vado, NM) on Wednesday afternoon, Ricky Weiss unloaded his G-Style Transport No. 7 machine for Round Three of the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout.

With the Late Model field down to 39 entries, Weiss was unable to transfer through his heat but earned an A-Main spot after a third-place run in his B-Main. With a $11,000 payday on the line, Ricky recorded a 13th-place finish.

With a day off on Thursday, Ricky began Friday's show with a third-place finish in his heat followed by a 14th-palce finish in the feature.

For another $11,000-to-win feature on Saturday, Weiss charged forward four positions in the 40-lap main event to match his best finish of the week in eighth.

For Sunday's $26,000-to-win finale, Ricky started from the fourth row and wound up just outside the Top-10 in 11th.

Full results from the finale can be found at www.WildWestShootout.net.
